What was this about? Only heard it once by a guy on one of the buses, and his girlfriend punched him and told him to shut up.

It used to be sung quite often down the Vetch, but i think i've only heard it once over the Liberty.

Haven't heard it since that time I mentioned - I am guessing it is a reference to a real person or event?

Run to your buses, you better run to your buses...

I do miss the North Bank i must confess, okay the atmosphere wasn't great all the time but when it was there was nothing like it! Guaranteed to sound like a 60 a day smoker by the time full time came and you had sung your heart out! :hello:

I agree.

The song i miss is 'Take my Hands', it was sung every game down the Vetch but you only hear it briefly these days during 'big' games.

Also we should still sing songs about club legends such as Freestone. Look at some Prem sides for example, Aston Villa, they sing songs about their European Cup winning side to this day. Would be great to get a song going about Curt, Robbie, Allchurch, Freestone etc etc.

It was "black N white army" mun not barmy army - that came along later when the younger generation mutated the words.

"Hark now here the Swansea sing"

The white christmas song often got sung, (obviosuly around the festive period), and on occasion over and over again as i'm sure if memory serves me correct we were beating Cardiff which made it more relevant.

I'm forever blowing bubbles
pretty bubbles in the air
They fly so high
nearly reach the sky
then like Cardiff they fade and die
Cardiff's always running
Villa's running too
and we're the Swansea North Bank
RUNNING AFTER YOU!
